Back in Febuary 2007 Jason Emery started off as Reserve Manager with Tim Dollard has his Assistant, this and gave Basildon's reserve side a lift, they gain some good results towards the end of last season and where going into this season with alot of hope. But sadly not everything went to plan.
In October 2007 Jason got the First Team job and therefore Tim had to step up to manager. That was not all, most of Basildon's first team players left the club during this time, leaving the reserves to fill in the gaps, this left the reserves side depleated of players.
So this season Basildon Reserves has found it hard to cope with the standard of football that it compete's in, but the team has battled on through a very hard session, even if results didn't go there way they carried on. All creadit too them.
During this season the club has not been able to keep up with the Reserve teams stats.
Sorry, hopefully next year will be different.
