Club Relocation. |

The ongoing saga of when and where the club moves is continuing. Recently planning permission for the club to move to Eversley Park was turned down.
English Partnerships have now obtained planning permission to develop the land that we currently lease and have started Compulsory purchase of all the properties in our area.
E.P. intend to build a new 'village' of industrial units, offices, shops and housing on the site. We are due to be moved in the latter stages of the development and could remain on our current site for some considerable time yet.
The Directors are in constant talks with all parties involved in the developments, plus other developers and the Council with the purpose of identifying a suitable site for relocation.
Possible sites have been suggested and we are looking into the viabilty of these sites.
Once there is some definite news, we will let you know.

JOHN HIGLEY AT BASILDON HOSPITAL |

Basildon United's head coach, UEFA 'B' qualified, John Higley will be at Basildon Hospital, featuring on their 'Talk Sport' Radio show. John will be explaining grassroots football, coaching methods, his own experience in scouting and taking players into the professional game. He will be answering questions from patients and staff and explaining where local clubs have a big part to play in the community and in the development of young players.
